About Office of Dispute Resolution
Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Dispute Resolution (ODR) for the Third Judicial Administrative District is to promote the administration of justice by providing courts and parties an alternative method of resolving disputes which conserves human and monetary resources.
ODR, offers a team of highly skilled, ethical mediators who seek to protect self-determination, confidentiality, impartiality, and fairness in delivering services to the courts and the parties.

An effective and compassionate staff, which controls assignment, qualification, and training of mediators, provides prompt and courteous service to judges, parties and the bar, while insuring expeditious administration of court ordered referrals in accordance with state and local rules of procedure. To maintain this level of service quality, the ODR staff is committed to two things. First, they seek to maintain a highly effective communications flow with judges, parties, attorneys, and mediators. Second, the ODR staff is committed to a high level of awareness of innovative and continually improving dispute resolution methods for application to Georgia’s Third Administrative Judicial District.
